Resources for Creating Web Sites And Pages

The Monmouth College Web Resources Page -- Pretty much everything you will need to put together a basic web page, make it functional and dress it up a bit.

Navigation in web sites.  A a useful resource page from the University of Minnesota - Duluth concerning good design practices and methods.  Links to other topics as well.

Writing for the Web from Eldis -- a readable discussion about issues in good writing and design for the web.  A starting point for learning about visual literacy and writing.

Web Curriculum Resources from the University of Oregon --  If you're ready to get more sophisticated, this site has a wealth of material including HTML code explanations, places to go for web design software and utilities, guides to good practice in design and writing and more.

The Yale Web Style Guide (2nd ed.) -- a complete text for planning and construction web sites and pages.  Complete and easy to use.  (Also available in book form at Amazon.com)
