The Monmouth College Archives is the
repository for documents and items of material culture relating to the
history of Monmouth College. It is used by students in our capstone
History course, as they develop research papers based on our holdings.
We also get a significant number of off-campus requests for information,
mostly for relatives of former faculty, staff, and students.

|
| The curator of the Monmouth College Archives is Dr. Stacy A. Cordery. She is invaluably assisted each year by a select number of students who catalogue and file materials, pull collections for on-site researchers, and do the sleuthing for off-site queries. This year, 2003-2004, those students are Ryan Bay, Jason Rittenhouse, Kayla Witherell, and Alexis Zanis. | |
| We are
always happy to receive donations to our collection. If you have
documents or memorabilia relating to Monmouth College and its past that
you could care to donate please contact Stacy Cordery. Your donation will
contribute to our ability to study the long and fascinating history of
Monmouth College and its community. We are always especially interested
in papers of former faculty, in documents relating to fraternities,
sororities, and all other student groups, our Pipe and Drum band, and our
athletic teams--but anything connected to the College is most welcome! |
