Monmouth SquareThis is the town square of Monmouth, Illinois, as it looked during the time the McQuiston family lived here. The bookstore owned by the McQuistons is the second building from the left with the ornamented top.  The building is split in two and the bookstore is on the right hand side. The store was torn down in 1907 in order to build the new Warren County Library, which is still there today.
