Alpha
Tau Omega has been dominant in intramural sports on Monmouth's campus,
especially in the past decade. We are active within most intramural
sports including basketball, volleyball, lacrosse, dodgeball, funball, and many
others.
The Lacrosse team was started by members of Alpha Tau Omega,
and in the process of being built at the present time, is
comprised of mostly ATO's. Here are some of our men at
a game against rival Knox College:
In 2004, ATO's won the campus-wide Dodgeball Tournament
and have since been a feared team in tournaments.
Having an extremely competitive spirit and the drive to
win, the team hopes to continue posting W's on the
scoreboard in future tournaments.
Although dominant
in most intramurals, Alpha Tau Omega is definitely most
notorious for our winning streak in Funball.
Funball is a modified football game and is mostly played
between the three fraternities on campus. Although
Sigma Phi Epsilon has put up some good fights in past
years, we have come out on top every time.
Currently ATO's
have a reign of 10 consecutive years as champions of
the Funball League and we look to extend that
winning streak into the years to come as we have
up-and-coming talent in our "farm system." Here
are some of our key moments in games:
