
This portfolio contains work done for Professor Chris Goble's Media Production class (CATA 365) during the spring semester of 2007. Each project focuses on a specific program or concept, and each is showcased in a different form of media.
PrintThis brochure was created to promote an understanding of the newly adopted general education curriculum at Monmouth College. It was meant to be easy to read and aesthetically appealing. The information presented in the pamphlet was provided by Professor Goble for editing and layout design.
Project Goals:This image was produced by altering a previously-captured, digital image. Applying text, changing background color, and isolating figures all played a part in this project. The result is a pointed spoof, aimed at getting college students to tune out of their iPods and into their professors.
Project Goals:This video is the combination of several, individual components. First, various scenes were shot following proper camera handling technique. Then, these shots were edited together to form one piece, with sound and music to complement.
Project Goals:This animation was constructed through the composite of animated vector graphics layers. By simultaneously featuring motion and morphing animations, the final piece conveys a message in a new and different way.
Project Goals:This webpage is a very simple tutorial that was created with pure HTML in order to learn the basics of web-based coding. The Communication and Theater Arts content and styling were pre-determined by Professor Goble, but the creation of the site was undertaken by the student.
