NOTES FOR THE SOUL On February 16, 2000, and again on November 15, 2000, the students at Monmouth College were offered an opportunity to experience the music and wisdom of John MacEnulty.  John blessed us with wonder, peace, and the depth of his love as he played his original compositions on his Native American flutes.

In the words of students who attended these performances: "I went to the Native American Flute presentation with a preconceived notion that I would learn about Native American culture through the music of that people.  I will not deny that I did learn a little about that culture, but more importantly, I learned about the power I have in myself to produce a perfect stillness and quiet that I never felt before...I truly appreciated the time that was given to me to concentrate on myself instead of on my studies and the million other things that I have to do.  This presentation far exceeded my expectations."

"John MacEnulty gave a magnificent performance that just blew me away.  I held on to every note he played and really appreciated the stress-reducing meditation he took us through also." --M. M., Junior

This was an extraordinary experience for those who attended.  John is periodically invited back to Monmouth College.
