Students wishing to teach
Chemistry at the secondary level must major in chemistry and complete the
requirements for teacher certification in the
Education Department, including EDUC342.
Students may also wish to complete eight hours of Biology to quality to teach
general science.
Students in this program are
required to spend one full semester student teaching. This makes it
imperative that students contact a faculty member in Education and in Chemistry
during their first days on campus to review and plan their schedule.
