The American Chemical Society is the professional society for academic and industrial chemists.  ACS has some cool links on it's web site and students can check out the ACS Student Affiliate program.  MC students can access an archive of journals published by ACS via the Hewes Library web site.

A good electronic periodic table is worth its mass in electrons.  This one comes from Los Alamos National Laboratory. A nearly endless list of Periodic Tables can be found at the Chemistry Coach site.  The Periodic Table of Comic Books will certainly be useful when you need a laugh.

For a table of  SI  prefixes give the NIST site a look.  Also at NIST are the units of the metric system.  To visualize the Powers of Ten in our Universe try this web site from Florida State University.
