-My personal interest in sports supplementation has stems from my long involvement in sports. I have been playing organized sports since the third grade, but I did not become a serious athlete until about my eighth grade year. This is when I began to lift weights very regularly. The gains I experienced were immediate and substantial. By the time I reached high school lifting weights was my "sport" until football came around and I had discovered that I was so strong physically ready for football due to my off-season weight training program. But after lifting weights for so long my body began to plateau and my gains became less. So I began reading muscle magazines and fitness journal to find ways to beat my plateaus. I found my salvation in sports supplements. I began taking a couple of name brand products and I was back on track. I read so much about supplements and their effects I truly became an authority on the topic especially for someone my age. The science amazes me. The way we can take a pill and have it increase our physical capabilities blows my mind.
