Your final grade will be determined in the following way:

One TEST
- QUIZ AVERAGE (counts as one test
grade)
- Short Writing Assignment AVERAGE
(counts as one test grade)

your course grade. See

Exams
There will be ONE (1)
exam. This exam will be
based upon material covered in class and in course readings.
Questions may include multiple choice, true/false, fill-in the blank,
slide identification and short
essay questions.
Quizzes
Quizzes, both announced and unannounced,
will be given at the discretion of the instructor.
The average of these quiz grades will count as one test grade.
One of these quizzes will be a Map Quiz.
Short Writing Assignments
At least one short response paper will be assigned every week, based
upon topics discussed in class. These papers will include accurate and specific
reference to course materials as well as your own response to this material.
They must be at least 300-words in length and follow
Prof. Sienkewicz' Writing Guidelines.
No papers will be accepted for grade after
the day they are due. The average of these papers (and quizzes) will count as one exam grade.
