Directions: Provide some significant information about each of the places in Part I. Relate each place to a specific athletic event or activity. Be sure to explain what this information adds to our knowledge of sport and recreation in the ancient world.

Here are some examples of appropriate answers:
Troy: According to Euripides' Trojan Women, the Greeks killed Hector's son Astyanax here after the fall of Troy.
Delphi: According to Sophocles' Oedipus Rex, Oedipus received an oracle here about killing his father.
Sparta: According to Euripides' Trojan Women, Menelaus took Helen back here after the Trojan War.
