HONR210 Reading Through the Millennia
Class Format

This is a reading and discussion rather than lecture course. All members of the honors class are expected to have read the material for a given class, to raise thoughtful questions about the readings, and to express their opinions in class.

A brief oral report will be given in every class by at least one student. The purpose of this report is to provide a wider context in which to discuss the class readings.

There will be no tests in this course. Students will be evaluated based upon class participation, including oral reports (30%), regular written statements on the course readings (30%), and a semester-long web-based class project (40%).
