SECOND UNIT EXAM QUESTION

The exam will consist of the following question. You will not be permitted to use any notes or papers during the exam. You should try to be as comprehensive as possible and include as many poets and poems as possible. Be specific. Use examples from the readings.

"Discuss the various treatments of the love theme in the poetry of the ancient Greeks and Romans. How do these treatments compare to more modern statements and to your own opinion?"
