Gamma Omicron Chapter of Eta Sigma Phi, the National Classics Honorary Society, was founded at Monmouth College in 1956 by Professors Bernice L. Fox and Harold Ralston of the Classics Department.

Monmouth College's Gamma Omicron Chapter of Eta Sigma Phi, the national classics honorary society, recently inducted as an honorary member Mr. Brian Tibbets, Latin teacher at Monmouth-Roseville High School. In the photo Samantha Hendrix, MC'12 is presenting Mr. Tibbets with his membership certificate. Tibbets was her Latin teacher at MRHS for four years. Click on the image for a larger view.
