Loyola Academy invites applicants for a full-time, tenure-track
position as Latin teacher for the 2008-2009 school year (BA
required, MA preferred).
Loyola offers a full four-year program of Latin at all levels (slow-learners, average, honors, AP). Exact classes to be taught have not yet been determined. Our program, taught by four full-time Classics teachers, involves over 300 students in language study, Latin contests (Certamen, Medusa Mythology, CAMWS Translation, National Latin Exam, etc.), and a biennial Classics Tour to Greece and Italy.
