Welcome to the Monmouth College education newsletter. “Connecting the Dots” is a monthly newsletter put together by education students that is geared to the pre-service teachers at Monmouth College. Through the many different articles written by students, professors, and teachers in the field we hope to bring everyday teaching into our education classrooms here on campus. These articles will give you pros and cons of a certain teaching strategy, will summarize the newest piece of educational technology, will inform you of the ongoing legislation changes in Springfield, will provide reminders for leadership events and testing dates, and will provide new and innovative ideas. Every month different writers across majors/concentrations and years of experience will write articles about their passions, fears, ideas, and beliefs.
