Kappa Delta Pi Update

The academic year is winding down quickly, but we still have quite a bit to accomplish this April. First on the list is our spring initiation which will be taking place on April 6th where we hope to induct many new excited and dedicated individuals. Also, our Scholastic Book Fair was a huge success and we were thrilled to pull over a thousand dollars worth of books off the shelves to be donated to local schools for our annual Literacy Alive program. Many of the books pulled will also be recorded on tape by the Phi Omicron chapter members which will be a neat twist to accompany our donation to the local schools and library. Additionally, many of our chapter members are busy putting together a Relay for Life team composed of Monmouth teaching candidates who will relay through the night, from 6 pm to 6 am, on April 25th. If you are interested in joining the team or donating, please contact: Amber Bohms, Anna Damos, or Molly Rhoderick for more information. Finally, we would like to wish the best of luck to those chapter members who will be graduating this May and are confident that all will be exemplary additions to the teaching community.
