exciting and busy semester ahead of us in Monmouth Theatre!

Crimson Masque
A.
Meetings will continue to be every other week on Wednesdays at 5:00 p.m.
in Tartan Room or Private Dining Room
B.
We asked interest in new Executive Board positions, sign up to get
involved!
C.
Surveys were handed out in order to judge what workshops and what shows
we will go see during the semester
III.
Alpha Psi Omega
A.
Theatre Honor Society at Monmouth College.
B.
Looking for individuals who will devote time to all productions at
Monmouth in some fashion
C.
Freshman through Seniors are accepted, see Professor West for all
questions
IV.
ACTF (American College Theater Festival)
A.
A lot of fun was had by 12 theater people from Monmouth College in
Milwaukee, WI
B.
They attended workshops about different aspects of theater and saw shows
that were performed by other schools.
C.
They were able to attend the Festival due to their hard and exceptional
work with Crimson Masque and other Monmouth Theater activities
D.
Brittany Alston and Missy Metz competed in the Irene Ryan Acting
Scholorship Competition, they had a great time and met some great people!
E.
Heather Hall competed in the Critics competition, where she saw a few
shows and wrote reviews on them and came in fourth place in the conference!
F.
Stacey Field competed in the Stage Management
competition for her work with Baltimore Waltz.
V.
Get Involved!
A.
There are a lot of opportunities for theatre stuff to do this semester,
if you do not know what you would like to do, please contact Sara Youngs, Janeve
West, Doug Rankin or Bill Wallace to see what kind of work you can do to benefit
Monmouth Theater
VI.
Internships, Summer Work, Etc.
A.
Buchanan Arts Center is offering internships to
work with community theatre on their production of Charlotte’s Web, contact Professor West or the Buchanan Arts Center for further
details.
B.
Internships/Summer Work with College for Kids at
Monmouth College, working with Janeve West with all range of theater jobs and
the production Annie, Jr. See Professor
West for details
