Crimson Masque Exec Meeting
November 1, 2007
12 Noon- CATA Office
Attendance: Michael Heaton, Missy Metz, Mike Diamond, Janeve West, Doug Rankin
Costume Sales:
-Went well, everyone who signed up, showed up
-We made $140 on the sale (double from last year)
-Greeks want Costume Sale for Greek Week- too many scheduling constraints
-Missy would volunteer to do it, even though it would be between two shows
Homecoming Parade:
-Banner won 2nd Place- w00t!
-5 people walked with Crimson Masque
-We threw candy and was enthusiastic!’
Homecoming Slide Show:
-5 Slides- 40 sec long
-Sara said she had no help
-Was not advertised at all
-For next year: get in alumni program, start on Slide Show earlier, have a committee
Exchange with Monmouth H.S.:
-Possibly go see their show in two weeks- “The Hollow”
-Do things with them, any ideas???
Publicity:
-Do more to advertise shows and events
-Chalking worked for Costume Sales
-Possibly organize a walkout to put up posters
-Even doing a Crimson Masque outing that ends in putting up flyers places
**We need increased involvement from Crimson Masque Members, but we do not know how**
-Painting Day for a Show
-Theatre Workshop cleaning day
-Do something as a group- seeing shows
-Of Course, would include food, just to gain unity among the group
-Anymore???
-Shantz Theatre out of Chicago
-Monmouth Alumni started their own theatre company
-Saturday December 22nd- 10 pm, Gorilla Tango Theatre- 1919 N Milwaukee, Chicago, IL
-Possible trip for those in the Chicagoland area in the beginning of Winter Break to celebrate the end of finals!
-Those living around or near Monmouth can take a van with Doug to come to Chicago
-“No-EL-or How the BlagojeGrinch Stole Christmas”
Misc.:
-Do research to find shows in Chicago, Peoria, Quad Cities, somewhere close!
-T-Shirts are on order but not in yet
