Crimson Masque Exec Meeting

CATA Office- 12 Noon

Attendance: Michael Heaton, President, Missy Metz, Vice President, Michael Diamond, Secretary/Treasurer, Doug Rankin & Janeve West, Faculty Advisors, Kate Drost, Stacey Field (Guests)

Recap of last meeting: Very well organized and put together, great location, great timing and very nice job- says Prof West and Prof Rankin

Committees:

            Masquerade Ball- Michael Heaton to head this committee

-         Will be forming committee by next week or so

-         Tentative Dates: February 15^th or 16^th

Costume Sales- Missy Metz and Maddy Ethington to head this committee

-         They will form committee with the many volunteers they received at the meeting

-         Tentative date is October 29^th on the Peterson Plaza

-         Talk with Pat so she can start pulling old costumes

Publicity- Kayt Griffith is head of this committee/exec member

-         See Doug for description of job

-         We need to find a committee to help with this job

-         Chalk the sidewalks before all meetings and events (i.e. plays, costume sales, etc.)

­Hospitality- Sara Youngs is head of committee/exec member

-         We need to find a committee

-         Will provide cookies at every other meeting

-         Provide refreshments at shows and other events

Slide Show- Sara Youngs will be head this event up as well.

-         There are people who have signed up to help with this- form a committee

-         Get the list from Missy or the big binder…

-         See Bill Wallace for where all of the picture from archives were scanned into a computer, to make it easier for you

Website: Aubreigh Moon has volunteered to maintain the CM website for this year.

-         see Doug for access information to edit the website

-         Ideas: Blogging and Pictures from members of “Baltimore Waltz,” Running totals of CM and ACTF Points, Countdown to ACTF, Minutes to Exec and Meetings on the site

Points Database:  James Shepard, Jr.  will be designing a database to store our CM points, as well as ACTF Points.

Other Loose ends:

Student Senate meetings- Representatives: Mike Diamond, Michael Heaton and Sara Youngs, we can all show up for the meetings and Diamond can change which organization he is representing, no big deal

All committees- all heads will be setting up meetings to ge the ball rolling

Email to the “non-active” list of people who signed up at the Involvement Fair

We need people to come to the Megan Kelly workshop on 9/18/07 because she is amazing. 4-5:30 p.m. in the WIT- “come when you can, leave when you have to policy”- please contact Prof West if you are interested and able to come.

Michael Heaton is a bad boyfriend because he almost forgot his two-year anniversary is in two days

Missy Metz thinks she is a perfect girlfriend, but she thinks too much about romance and romantic things
