Homecoming Slide Show

-Sara Youngs will be getting in contact with those who are signed up to assist her with putting it together. (Jay Swanson, Stacey Field, Heather Hall, Rissa Inman)

-Advertise the Alumni Slide Show with sign in Homecoming Parade

-Points for helping with the Slide Show

 

Homecoming Parade:

-If you do not have another commitment, please come and walk with Crimson Masque in the Parade!

-Homecoming Parade- October 27th- 10:30 a.m.

-Email Mike, Missy or Mike if you are interested in supporting Crimson Masque!

-You get points for walking in the parade with CM!

 

Costume Sales:

            -Thursday October 25, 2007 from 11:00 a.m.-7:00 p.m.

            -To be held on the Dunlap Terrace…Basement of Stockdale if inclement weather

            -Any questions or want to volunteer, email Missy Metz

            -Email will be sent out soon!

            -Points for how many hours you work!

 

Workshops:

            -Megan Kelly workshop last week had low attendance

            -We need to find a better time for workshops!

-We took a survey of the best time for workshops during the week; with the majority of people saying Friday evenings around 4 p.m.

-Sheila Rocha is coming to talk about Liberation Theatre

i.                     HIGHLY RECOMMENDED IF YOU THINK OF HAVING A FUTURE IN THEATRE!!!

ii.                   Thursday October 4th, 6 p.m. to 9 p.m.; Refreshments Served

iii.                  Follow up Carry-Tray Lunch, Friday October 5th, 12-2

iv.                 Both events held in the Highlander Room in Stockdale

 

 

-BLAQ Market Monologues

i.                     A production that shows “the complex dynamics inherent in our society. It is an examination of race, gender and ethnicity, class, culture, polititcs and faith.”

ii.                   Being perfomed Tuesday October 2nd, 7-10 pm. in the Wells Theatre, Admission is Free!

iii.                  Sponsored by Intercultural Life and Coalition for Ethnic Awareness (CEA)

 

T-Shirt Ideas:

-If you have an idea for a t-shirt, please submit your ideas by this Friday, September 28th, by emailing your ideas to Missy Metz

-Make sure they are “cute” ideas…according to Missy

-No “Hunt for the Crimson October” ideas…Michael Heaton

-Doug wants a hot pink shirt…or maybe not?

 

Shows, etc.:

-Mike Diamond IS going to “Urinetown” on Friday of this week, September 28th, to meet in front of Stockdale at 6:30 p.m. to make the 8:00 p.m. show.

-Tickets are $9 a piece…The show is in Peoria at Bradley University

-Email Mike if you are interested in going!

 

-“Wiley and the Hairy Man” by Carl Sandburg College in Galesburg.

-Shows October 18-20, 7:00 p.m., 2:00 p.m. Matinee on October 20, 2007

-FREE Tickets- email Prof. West by October 1st (Next Monday) with date and time you want to attend; you will need to provide your own transportation

-Very entertaining show- ask Prof. Rankin, is children’s theatre piece

-How to advertise better: Chalking the sidewalks before meetings, Placard Sign made by Doug

-Timing for meetings seems to be the best time during the week for all (5 p.m. E/O Wednesday)

-Meeting slide on Radio/TV Station

-Getting in touch with Courier to put meetings in the newspaper will hopefully attract more attendants
