FAQs.
  • Where can I spend my flex dollars?
Flex dollars can be spent at the Scots Market convenience store, the Huff Athletic Center Snack Bar, the Scotland yard food court which includes Ben & Jerry's Ice Cream, Jump Asian, Old El Paso and Monty's Toasted Subs. The flex dollars can also be used at the Main Dining Room to buy additional meals for yourself or guests.

  • Where can I add flex dollars to my account?
Either at the business office or at the Stockdale Center Food Service office. They can be added in increments as low as $25.00. At each location you can also charge them to your college account. At the Stockdale Center Food Service office you can pay with cash, check or credit card.

  • Why would I want to add additional flex dollars?
Any added flex dollars come with a 10% bonus which is superior to a regular cash transaction.

  • Do my flex dollars carry over?
Your flex dollars will carry over between the fall and spring semesters, but not during the summer.

  • Can my friends use my dining card when they come to visit?
We apologize, but the answer is no. Your meal card is not transferable. The rationale behind this decision is that the cost of your meal plan is based on past participation and the average number of meals our guests eat each week. This number does not include guest meals. Dinner passes can be purchased at the cashier's stand, at the entrance to the Main Dining Room for a discounted rate if you accompany your guests to purchase one.

  • I lost my ID card...what do I do now?
Don't Panic...You can still eat until you get your card replaced. Stop by and see us in the dining services office and we will issue you a temporary meal pass, for a small fee, to allow you to eat until you get your meal card replaced. Be sure to see us after you replace your card so that we can verify your ID number and ensure that your new card will work when scanned by our cashiers.

  • I work a lot and miss some meals....what options are available to me?
Box meal requests are available at the Food Service office. You can also print a form from the link below, fill it out, and drop it off at our office. If you are a student teacher, we suggest filling out a different form for each day of the week so that your don't get the same meal every day. You can change your box lunch choices whenever you like simply by submitting a new form and canceling the old one. Each box lunch is made fresh just for you.

Box Lunch Order Form.

  • What is a meal exchange and how do I arrange one?
Meal exchanges are a way for you to have a special meal for your fraternity, residence hall, or campus organization at no or very little cost. Ordering one is easy. Just print off a copy of our meal exchange form, fill it out, and drop it by the food service director's office along with those who will be attending the event (please include their bar-code numbers as well). We can only service one meal exchange per night and so you should book your event early. You will need to have 15 or more people and have their permission to use their names in your request. You will be exchanging a meal in our dining room for the meal exchange so your card will not work in the dining room during that meal. Meal exchanges need to be during regular dining hours.

  • Can I change my meal plan?
Yes, You have the opportunity to change your meal plan during the first week of fall and/or spring semesters. Simply go to the Business Office and fill out a "Meal Plan Change Form".

  • How do I get a job working in food service?
Just stop by and fill out an application. We are very flexible in terms of working around your class schedule and your hectic life to help you find a work schedule that is advantageous to both you and to us. If you do end up coming on board with Aramark, you will receive your checks once per month from the college business office. We offer not only work study and part time jobs but also the chance for you to develop a career path with Aramark if you wish to pursue a job in food service after your graduation. Internships are also available...stop by and talk to Bruce if you have any questions.

  • I have questions you haven't addressed here...am I out of luck?
No, you are not out of luck yet. If you have further questions, please send an e-mail to Bruce Cvancara or stop by and see any manager in the dining room or in their offices during business hours.
