Global Perspectives Course Requirements

 

A. Reading Assignments
  • History of the modern world text (instructor’s choice from menu)
  • Introduction to Liberal Arts/Global Perspectives bridge reading (common reading)
  • Theme-based case studies (instructor’s choice)

B. Writing Assignments

  • Research paper with proper source citation
  • 2000 to 2500 words
  • Citation style – instructor’s choice
  • Other written assignments, the number and nature of which will vary from course to course

C. Exams

  • At least two exams, one of which is the final exam
  • Type of exam (in-class or take-home, comprehensive or non-comprehensive, objective or essay) – instructor’s choice

D. Quantitative Component, the content of which will vary from course to course

E. Oral Assignments/Presentations, the number and nature of which will vary from course to course

F. Other assignments – at instructor’s discretion
