For this assignment, you will form into small groups and create, throughout the term, issues of a newspaper with articles germane to the era and the topics we discuss. Your newspaper should look and read like a newspaper of the era indicated. The newspaper will be a vehicle for your group to learn about and to analyze the changing circumstances for women. Be as creative as you can be with the design, layout, assignments, and types of articles. Be as factual and historically accurate as you can be with the content of the articles.
Separate from the newspaper, please append a bibliography and/or source notes. Each time the newspaper issue is due, it will be worth 50 points. At the end of the semester, you will face a final question that concerns the newspaper project--both what you learned and how you learned it, and how it helped you to understand the changes over time in women's history.
