Reception for Stacy Cordery, organized by Tom Sienkewicz and Bill Urban in honor of her recently published book, ALICE.

November 3, 2007, in the home of Bill and Jackie Urban.

The toast: Of all the books that have been published by Monmouth College faculty over the years, only three stand out. 1) Luther Emerson Robinson's History of Warren County and his book on Lincoln's prose; 2) Sam Thompson's books on philosophy and religion; 3) Stacy Cordery's Alice, which is the only one to be reviewed by the New York Times. Congratulations!

Note. Eileen Loya, below in center, typed Sam's manuscripts!

Looking for the right word.

And finding it.
