Class Lists


Import a Class List into Excel

To import a class list into Excel:

  1. Open the My Computer folder on your desktop.
     
  2. Open the W: drive.
     
  3. Open the MCUtil folder.
     
  4. Open the Class Lists folder.
     
  5. Right-click on your class list and select Copy. Then, right-click on your desktop and select Paste.
     
  6. Open Excel.
     
  7. Click on the File menu and select Open.
     
  8. On the Open window, click on the Files of type down arrow and select All Files, as shown circled below.

  9. Select your class list .txt file. The Text Import Wizard appears.
     
  10. Click on the Next button.
     
  11. Make sure that Delimited is selected, as shown circled below.

  12. Click on the Next button.
     
  13. Uncheck the Tab checkbox and check the Comma checkbox, as shown circled below.

  14. Click on the Next button.
     
  15. Click on the Finish button.
     
  16. Save the Excel file.
