Check Your F: Drive Space UsageTo check the amount of space that you are using on the F: drive:
Copy Your F: Drive Files from Last Year (Students Only)Each year, students receive new space on the F: drive for file storage. Returning students can copy their files from last year's F: drive space to this year's F: drive space using the Computer Assistant. To copy last year's files to this year's F: drive space:
Student F: Drive SpaceEach student has 100 MB of storage space for his or her files on the F: drive. If you get close to this limit, then you may having trouble saving files to the F: drive or you not be able to save to the F: drive at all. Other problems may also occur if your F: drive space gets full. If you have having trouble saving to the F: drive, then the first thing that you should do is check the amount of space that you are using. (For more information, see Check Your F: Drive Space Usage.) If your F: drive space is getting full, then you should delete some of your files or move some of your files to the G: drive. (The G: drive is NOT backed up, so DO NOT store important files there!) Note: Pay attention to picture, audio, or video files that you store on the F: drive. If they are large files or if you have a lot of them, then they could be consuming a lot of your F: drive space. |
