Overview

The MC IS Help Desk program enables faculty, staff, and students to create and submit help tickets for IS-related problems and requests.

After you submit a help ticket, an e-mail will be sent to you to let you know that your help ticket was received. You'll receive additional e-mails when your help ticket is assigned to a technician, when your help ticket is closed, and if your help ticket is re-opened.

You may open a help ticket at any time after you submit it to view the technician's notes or to add your own notes.

Create a Help Ticket

  1. Open a web browser and to go MyMC (https://mymc.monmouthcollege.edu).
  2. Click Faculty Resources or Staff Resources on the right side of the MyMC page.

  4. Click Start program across from Information Systems Help Desk.

  5. Log in with your MC user name and password.
  6. In the Please enter your problem/request field, enter a short description of the problem or request.

  7. If desired, in the Optional details field, enter additional information regarding the problem or request.
  8. Click on the Add Problem/Request button. An e-mail will be sent to you to let you know that the help ticket was received by the Information Systems Center office. You will receive another e-mail when the help ticket is assigned to a technician and when the help ticket is closed.

Open a Help Ticket

  1. Log in to the MC IS Help Desk program.
  2. Double-click on the help ticket that you want to view.
