Overview

A choice activity consists of a single question with a choice of multiple responses. It can be useful as a quick poll to stimulate thinking about a topic, to allow the class to vote on a direction for the course, or to gather research consent.

Add a Choice Activity

To add a choice to your course:

Click on the Turn editing on button.
Click on the desired Add an activity... down arrow and select Choice.
In the Choice name field, enter a name for the choice.
In the Choice text field, enter the question.
Specify the other choice options.

Click on the Save changes and return to course button.

Edit a Choice Activity

To make a change to an existing choice activity:

On the course home page, click on the choice activity.
Click on the Update this Choice button in the upper-right corner of the page.
Make the desired change.
Click on the Save changes and return to course button at the bottom of the page.

View Choice Activity Responses

To view the responses for choice activity:

On the course home page, click on the choice activity.
Click on View [number] responses in the upper-right corner of the page.
