OverviewTo enroll students in your course, you can either enroll them yourself or you can have your students enroll themselves. Note: If you want your students to enroll
themselves, then you may want to use an enrollment key (i.e., password)
to help keep unauthorized students from enrolling in your course. (For
more information, see Create an Enrollment
Key.) Enroll Students YourselfTo enroll students yourself:

Create an Enrollment KeyBy default, any Monmouth College student, faculty member, or staff member can enroll in your course. If you use an enrollment key, however, then only those people who know the enrollment key may enroll in your course. Note: Using an enrollment key is not a foolproof method for restricting enrollment because your students may share it with other students who are not registered for your course. If an unauthorized student enrolls in your course using your enrollment key, then you will have to unenroll the student. (For more information, see Unenroll a Student.) Once all of your students have enrolled, you can change the enrollment key and not give it out to anyone. This will keep future unauthorized students from enrolling in your course.
