Curve Grades

The Curve to feature in Moodle changes the maximum grade for an activity. For example, if a student receives 50 points for a 100 point assignment, and the assignment is curved to 50, the student will receive 50/50.

To curve grades for an activity:

1. Click on the Set Categories tab.
   
   Note: If you don't see this tab, then click on the Use Advanced Features button on the Set Preferences tab.
2. Enter the desired values in the Curve To field.
   
   
3. Click on the Save Changes button.
