Overview

When you hide a course, students will no longer be able to access it, and no one will be able to see it on the main Moodle page except for you and Moodle administrators.

You should hide your courses at the end of each semester. (If you want to re-use a course, then you can unhide it and reset it at the beginning of the semester.)

Hide a Course

1. In the Administration block on your course home page, click on Settings.
2. Click on the Availability down arrow and select This course is not available to students.
   
   
3. Click on the Save changes button at the bottom of the page.

Unhide a Course

1. In the Administration block on your course home page, click on Settings.
2. Click on the Availability down arrow and select This course is available to students.
   
   
3. Click on the Save changes button at the bottom of the page.
