About the ISC

Setting Up a New Course

To request a new Moodle course, please go to www.monm.edu/moodle.htm and submit the Learning Management System Course Request form. You will be notified via e-mail when your Moodle course is ready (usually within 24 hours after submitting the form).

When your new course is ready, you should:

  1. Configure your course home page. (To example, add or remove blocks, change the theme, change the number or topics or weeks, etc. For more information, see Course Settings and Blocks.)
     
  2. Update your Moodle profile information. (For more information, see Edit Your Moodle Profile.)
     
  3. Configure Internet Explorer to allow file downloads from Moodle. (For more information, see Internet Explorer Blocks File Downloads.)
     
  4. Add course content. (For more information, see Resources and Assignments, Quizzes, Choices, and/or Forums.)
     
  5. Enroll your students. (For more information, see Enroll or Unenroll Students.)
