Reset Course

Overview

If you want to reuse a course from a previous semester, then you can reset it. Resetting a course deletes all of the student data (enrollments, grades, forum posts, etc.) and leaves the course content.

IMPORTANT! When you reset a course, all of the student data is permanently deleted. Because of this, be sure to back up the course, save a copy of the course backup file to your computer, and download the course gradebook to Excel before you reset it. For directions on how to backup a course, see Backing Up Your Course(s) and Gradebook(s).
