Add a Summary to a Week or Topic SectionA summary is a heading and/or other text that you add to the top of a week or topic section. An example of a summary for a topic section is shown below.
Note: Week or topic summaries should be short so that your course page doesn't become too long. If you want to add more than a sentence or two to the summary, then consider adding a resource to the week or topic instead. (For example, you could create a page called "About This Week" or "About This Topic" and make it the first item in the section.) To add a week or topic summary:
Add a Label to a Week or Topic SectionA label is a heading and/or other text that may be positioned anywhere in the week or topic section below the summary. An example of a topic section with two labels is shown below.
To add a label to a week or topic section:
Hide a Week or Topic SectionDepending on your course settings, hidden week or topic sections either will be marked as "Not available," (as shown below) or be completely invisible to students.
Note: To change how hidden sections display for students, go into the course settings and change the Hidden sections option. To hide a week or topic section:

Show the Current Week or Topic Section OnlyEvery Moodle user can choose whether to view all weeks or topics in a course or only the current week or topic. To view only the current week or topic, click on the section's Show only tool, shown circled below.
To view all weeks or topics, click on the Show all weeks or Show all topics tool, shown circled below.
Highlight the Current TopicNote: The Highlight tool is only available for the topics format. In the weekly format, the current week is highlighted by default. To highlight the current topic:
