Setting Up a New Course

After a new course has been created for you by a Moodle administrator, you should:

1. Configure your course home page. (For example, you can add or remove blocks, change the theme, change the number of week or topic sections, etc. For more information, see Course Settings and Blocks.)
2. Update your Moodle profile information. (For more information, see Edit Your Profile Information.)
3. Configure Internet Explorer to allow file downloads from Moodle. (For more information, see Internet Explorer Blocks File Downloads.)
4. Enroll your students. (For more information, see Enroll or Unenroll Students.)
5. Add course content. (For more information, see Files and Web Page Links and Resources and Activities.)
