MWSnap
MWSnap is a program that you can use to create screen captures
like the one shown below. With MWSnap, you can take screen captures of single
windows, drop-down menus, the entire desktop, or any portion of a window or the desktop.

To take a screen capture of a single window:
- Open MWSnap by clicking on
the Start button and selecting Programs – General Programs
– Graphics – Screen Capture. The
Language window appears.
- Click on the OK button. The MWSnap window
appears.
- On the Snap tab, click on Window/menu.
- Click on the Snap window/menu button.
- Position the cursor on the title bar of the window that you
want to capture.
- Click the left mouse button or press the Enter key. The
MWSnap window appears and displays the screen capture.
- Click on the Edit menu and select Copy.
- Right-click where you want to paste the screen capture and
select Paste. The screen capture appears.

To take a screen capture of the desktop:
- Open MWSnap by clicking on
the Start button and selecting Programs – General Programs
– Graphics - Screen Capture. The
Language window appears.
- Click on the OK button. The MWSnap window
appears.
- On the Snap tab, click on Full desktop.
- Click on the Snap full desktop button. The MWSnap
window appears and displays the screen capture.
- Click on the Edit menu and select Copy.
- Right-click where you want to paste the screen capture and
select Paste. The screen capture appears.

Take a Screen Capture of a
Drop-Down Menu
To take a screen capture of a drop-down menu:
- Open MWSnap by clicking on
the Start button and selecting Programs – General Programs
– Graphics – Screen Capture. The
Language window appears.
- Click on the OK button. The MWSnap window
appears.
- On
the Snap tab, click on Any rect. area.
- Minimize the MWSnap window (do not close it).
- Click on the drop-down menu that you want to capture.
- Press Ctrl + Shift + A.
- Draw a box around the drop-down menu.
- Click the left mouse button or press the Enter key. The
MWSnap window appears and displays the screen capture.
- Click on the Edit menu and select Copy.
- Right-click where you want to paste the screen capture and
select Paste. The screen capture appears.
