Take a Screen Capture of a Single Window

  1. Open MWSnap by clicking on the Start button and selecting Programs – General Programs – Graphics – Screen Capture. The Language window appears.
  2. Click on the OK button.
  3. On the Snap tab, click on Window/menu.
  4. Click on the Snap window/menu button.
  5. Position the cursor on the title bar of the window that you want to capture.
  6. Click the left mouse button or press the Enter key. The MWSnap window appears and displays the screen capture.
  7. Click on the Edit menu and select Copy.
  8. Right-click where you want to paste the screen capture and select Paste.

Take a Screen Capture of the Desktop

  1. Open MWSnap by clicking on the Start button and selecting Programs – General Programs – Graphics - Screen Capture. The Language window appears.
  2. Click on the OK button.
  3. On the Snap tab, click on Full desktop.
  4. Click on the Snap full desktop button. The MWSnap window appears and displays the screen capture.
  5. Click on the Edit menu and select Copy.
  6. Right-click where you want to paste the screen capture and select Paste.

Take a Screen Capture of a Drop-Down Menu

  1. Open MWSnap by clicking on the Start button and selecting Programs – General Programs – Graphics – Screen Capture. The Language window appears.
  2. Click on the OK button.
  3. On the Snap tab, click on Any rect. area.
  4. Minimize the MWSnap window (do not close it).
  5. Click on the drop-down menu that you want to capture.
  6. Press Ctrl + Shift + A.
  7. Draw a box around the drop-down menu.
  8. Click the left mouse button or press the Enter key. The MWSnap window appears and displays the screen capture.
  9. Click on the Edit menu and select Copy.
  10. Right-click where you want to paste the screen capture and select Paste.
