Logging InPublic vs. Private Computer Logon Options When you log in to Outlook Web Access (OWA) 2007, you must select either the public computer or private computer logon option, as shown below.
IMPORTANT! For security reasons, the public computer logon option times out after 15 minutes. The private computer logon option times out after 24 hours. Low Vision Optimization, Language, and Time Zone Settings The first time that you log in to OWA, a window appears that allows you turn on low vision optimization* and to change the language and time zone settings.
Unless you want to make a change, accept the default settings and click OK button. If you decide later that you want to change one of these settings, then you can do so in the OWA options. * Low vision optimization is for people who have a hard time viewing the screen. When you turn on low vision optimization, you actually switch to a different version of Outlook Web Access, which is called Outlook Web Access Light. Outlook Web Access Light provides fewer features than Outlook Web Access Premium, but it is optimized for accessibility.
