Send a Scan from a Kyocera Copier to an E-Mail Address

  1. Place the document in the copier on the glass or in the document feeder.
  2. Press the Send button.

  4. Press E-mail Address.

  5. Use the keypad to enter the email address (e.g., jdoe@monm.edu).
  6. Press OK.

  7. Press the Start button.

Send a Scan from a Kyocera Copier to a Folder

  1. Press the Send button.

  2. Press Folder Path Entry.

  3. Select SMB.

  4. Press Host Name and then use the keypad to enter nts1 (for faculty and staff) or nts2 (for students).

  5. Press Path and then use the keypad to enter \home\[your user name] (e.g., \home\jdoe).

  6. Press Login User Name and use the keypad to enter your user name.

    Note:
    The user name and password must be the user name and password used to log into the location specified in the Path field. So, for example, if you want to send a scan to someone else’s computer, you will need to enter to have that person enter his/her user name and password.

  7. Press Login Password and use the keypad to enter your password.

  8. Press Connection Test. The message that appears should say Connected. If the message says, “Cannot connect,” then re-check to make sure all of the information you entered is correct and press Connection Test again.

  9. Press OK.

  10. Press the Start button.

    Note: To locate the scan on your computer, double-click the My Computer icon on your desktop and then double-click on your F: drive.

Send a Private Print Job to a Kyocera Copier

Note: Private print jobs are stored on the hard disk until a four-digit access code is entered. When the hard disk reaches maximum capacity and a new job is sent to be stored, the oldest stored job is replaced by the new job. Private print jobs are deleted when the printing system is reset or turned off. The number of private print jobs that can be stored is limited only by the storage capacity of the hard disk. You can manually delete a job at the operation panel.

  1. In a Microsoft Office program, on the File tab, click Print.
  2. Click the Printer down arrow and select the Kyocera copier.

  3. Click Printer Properties.

  4. Select Job storage (e-MPS).

  5. Select Private print.

  6. In the Access code field, enter a four-digit access code.

  7. Click OK.

Print a Private Print Job at a Kyocera Copier

  1. Press the Document Box key.
  2. Press Job Box.
  3. Select Private Print/Stored Job.
  4. Press Open.

  5. Select your user name.

  6. Press Open.

  7. Select the document that you want to print.

  9. Enter the four-digit access code.
  10. Specify the number of copies to print.
  11. Press Start Print.

    Note:
    Upon completion of printing, the private print job is automatically deleted.

View a Private Print Document at a Kyocera Copier

  1. Press the Document Box key.
  2. Press Job Box.
  3. Select Private Print/Stored Job.
  4. Press  Open.
  5. Select your user name.

  7. Select the document that you want to open.

  8. Press Detail.

  9. Enter the four-digit access code.
  10. When you are finished viewing the document, press Close.

Delete a Private Print Document from a Kyocera Copier

  1. Press the Document Box key.
  2. Press Job Box.
  3. Select Private Print/Stored Job.
  4. Press  Open.
  5. Select your user name.

  7. Select the document that you want to delete.
