Viewing Report Data

View the Current Page and Total Number of Pages

The current page number and total number of pages display on the left end of the report toolbar.

Move to the Next or Previous Page

To move to the next page or previous page, click the Next Page Next Page Button button or the Previous Page Previous Page Button button.

To move to the first or last page, click the First Page First Page Button button or the Last Page Last Page Button button.

Zoom In or Out

To zoon in or zoom out, click the Zoom down arrow and select the desired zoom level.

Note: To see at a glance how many columns a report has, select Page Width from the drop-down list.

Search for Specific Data

To quickly locate specific data in a report, such a person's last name, you can search for it by entering a keyword in the Find field and clicking on Find.

The first occurrence of the specified word will appear highlighted on the report. To find the next occurrence on the report, click Next.

Sort Data

In Report Manager, some columns have a sorter button that you can use to sort the report in ascending or descending order. A sorter button is shown circled below.

Clicking the sorter button sorts the report data in ascending order. The sorter button then changes to an up arrow button. Clicking on the up arrow button sorts the report data in descending order.

To sort by multiple columns, click the sorter button for the first column by which you want to sort, press and hold the Shift key, and then click the sorter buttons for the other columns by which you want to sort.

Note: If you would like to have a sorter button added to a column on a report, then please contact the Information Systems Center at x2106.

Refresh Data

If you have a report open for an extended period of time and want to see the most recent data without re-running the report, then you can refresh the report data by clicking the Refresh button.
