Troubleshooting


When you try to access SharePoint, you receive a "Web Page Cannot be Found" error message.

If you receive the "Web Page Cannot be Found" error message, then you need to re-configure the proxy settings in Internet Explorer.

To re-configure the proxy settings:

  1. Open Internet Explorer.
     
  2. Click on the Tools menu and select Internet Options.
     
  3. Click on the Connections tab.
     
  4. Click on the LAN Settings button.
     
  5. Under Proxy server, either uncheck the Use a proxy server for your LAN checkbox or, if you want to use the proxy server, then check the Bypass proxy server for local addresses checkbox.
     
  6. Click on the OK button.
     
  7. Click on the OK button.
     
  8. Try to access SharePoint again.
