Voice Mail ID

Your voice mail ID is the same as your phone extension, unless you share a phone with someone. (If you share a phone with someone, then your voice mail ID is assigned by the Information Systems Center.)

Default Password

The default voice mail password is 12345. You may change your password at any time using the phone or the online Unity Assistant.

Note: Voice mail passwords must be at least three digits in length, and passwords with patterns such as 123, 111, 222, or 333 are not accepted by the Unity system.

Change Your Password Using the Phone

1. Dial x2222 from an on-campus phone or dial (309) 457-2222 from an off-campus phone.
2. As soon as you hear the Monmouth College greeting ("Hello, you have reached Monmouth College..."), press the star ( * ) key and, when prompted, enter your voice mail ID and password.
   
   Note: Press the star ( * ) key to back up/cancel or press the pound ( # ) key to skip ahead at any time.
3. Press 4 to access the Setup Options menu.
4. Press 3 to access the Personal Settings menu.
5. Press 1 to change your password.
6. Enter your new password and press the pound key ( # ).
   
   Note: Voice mail passwords must be at least three digits in length, and passwords with patterns such as 123, 111, 222, or 333 are not accepted by the Unity system.
7. Re-enter your new password and press the pound key ( # ).
8. Exit the Unity system by pressing the star key ( * ) until you are backed out and then hang up.

Change Your Password Using the Unity Assistant

1. Open your web browser and go to http://ntvoice/ciscopca.
2. In the User Name field, enter your Monmouth College network user name.
3. In the Password field, enter your Monmouth College network password.
4. In the Domain field, enter NT1.
5. If desired, click on the Remember user name and Remember domain checkboxes.
6. Click on the Log In button. The Cisco Personal Communications Assistant page appears.
7. Click on the Cisco Unity Assistant link.

8. In the New Password field, enter your new password.

Note: Voice mail passwords must be at least three digits in length, and passwords with patterns such as 123, 111,” 222, or 333 are not accepted by the Unity system.

9. In the Confirm New Password field, re-enter your new password.
10. Click on the Save button.
