Add a Shortcut to the Desktop

1. Click Start button and select Programs.
2. Right-click on the program for which you want to create a shortcut and select Create Shortcut. A message appears that asks whether you want to place the shortcut on the desktop.
3. Click on the Yes button.

Add a Shortcut to the Quick Launch Bar

1. Create a shortcut on the desktop and then drag the shortcut from the desktop to the Quick Launch bar until you see a black vertical bar appear (this bar indicates where the shortcut will be placed on the Quick Launch bar).
2. Release the mouse button.

Add a Shortcut to the Start Menu

1. Create a shortcut on the desktop.
2. Left-click on the shortcut and drag it to the Start button.
3. Drag the shortcut to the desired location on the Start menu.

Delete a Shortcut

1. Right-click on the shortcut and select Delete. A message appears to let you know that you will not uninstall the program if you delete the shortcut.
2. Click on the Delete Shortcut button.
