Configure a BlackBerry for
MC E-mail
If your BlackBerry is configured to use a POP Outlook account for
Monmouth College e-mail, then messages sent from your BlackBerry
will go directly to the Monmouth College account holder's Quarantine
folder in Outlook. To prevent this from happening, you must
configure your BlackBerry to use an Outlook Web Access (OWA)
account. (When you use an OWA account, messages sent from your
BlackBerry will go directly to the Monmouth College account holder's
Inbox.) Directions for configuring your BlackBerry to use an OWA
account are below.

you set up your BlackBerrry to use an Outlook Web Access account to
receive and send MC e-mail. Follow the steps below at your own risk.
Monmouth College is not responsible for any damages to your
BlackBerry or the data on your BlackBerry.
- If you already have a Monmouth College e-mail account on
your BlackBerry, then delete it.
- Add your Monmouth College e-mail to your device as a new
account.
- Enter an INCORRECT password in the password
field. An error message will display and you will be given the
opportunity to choose between a POP account or an Outlook Web
Access account.
- Choose the Outlook Web Access account.
Note: If you are prompted to enter a URL, enter
https://email.monm.edu.
- Enter your user name, your CORRECT password, and the name of
your account (last name, first name).

you set up your iPhone or iPod Touch to work with Monmouth College's
Exchange server to
receive and send MC e-mail. Follow the steps below at your own risk.
Monmouth College is not responsible for any damages to your
iPhone or iPod Touch or the data on your iPhone or IPod Touch.
- Add an Exchange account.
- In the Email field, enter your Monmouth
College e-mail address (e.g., jdoe@monm.edu).
- Leave the Domain field blank. (You do
not need to specify a Domain.)
- In the Username field, enter your
Monmouth College user name (e.g., jdoe).
- In the Password field, enter your
Monmouth College password.
- Tap Next.
- In the Server field, enter
email.monm.edu.
- Tap Next.
- Next to Mail, tap ON.
- Tap Done.
