Good network security depends on you! If someone gains unauthorized access to your computer account, then it could be used for illegal activity and the security of the entire network could become compromised.

To help prevent unauthorized users from accessing your computer account, you should:

Use a strong password and keep it secret. (For more information, see Passwords.)
Lock your computer when you are going to be away from it. (For more information, see Lock Your Computer.)
Use a password-protected screen saver. (For more information, see Turn On a Password-Protected Screen Saver.)
