Symptoms of an Infected Computer

Infected computers tend to exhibit one or more of the following symptoms:

• The computer crashes, reboots often, or runs a lot slower than normal.
• The computer runs out of Windows resources.
• The Internet connection is a lot slower than usual.
• Web browsing is disabled.
• More pop-up ads appear than normal.
• The web browser's home page changes by itself.
• New toolbars appear on the web browser that you did not knowingly install.
