Configure Your FTP Program to Use Passive Transfer
OverviewIf you want to use FTP to download and upload files, then your FTP program must be configured to use passive transfer. Below are instructions for configuring Internet Explorer 6, WS_FTP95 LE, and command line FTP to use passive transfer. If the directions for your FTP application are not listed here, then refer to your application's help documentation. Note: You can download WS_FTP95 LE from the network and install it on your computer. (For more information, see Download and Install WS_FTP95 LE.)
