This is Kappa's nationally supported philanthropy.

Relay for Life

Kappas are involved heavily with this philanthropic event sponsored by The American Cancer Society. Kappa teams fundraise money for the event, and have been one of the top fundraising teams for the past four years. Many Kappas volunteer their time on the Relay for Life committee.

Journal Buddies

This is a service project that Kappas do with one of the local elementary schools in Monmouth where a Kappa is assigned to be a students pen-pal. At the end of each semester we meet our pen-pals for a party.

Pizza Roll

Pizza Roll is an event that we do with a fellow Fraternity on campus. Every fall we invite 2nd, 3rd, and 4th graders to the local roller rink where we skate, eat pizza, and play game with them.

Sisterhoods

Sisterhoods are fun events where members of the chapter get together to just spend time together. A sisterhood can be anything that you want it to be. Some examples of sisterhoods are:

Going to the movies together
Having a game night
Chapter dinners
Meeting in a lounge to watch a t. v. show
Ice cream sundae parties
Karaoke nights
Kappa Kamakaazi
SURPRISE sisterhoods!

Exchanges

These are activities that we do with other fraternities and sororities. These are fun activities that we do periodically throughout the year. Some examples are:

80's Night
Toga Night
Cook-outs
Tailgating at homecoming
Duo Days
My Tie
Twister
Date Dash
Dinner at Cherry St.
Anything that we can think of to have fun with fellow Greeks!

Formal

This is our formal dance that we have in April of every year. We have a formal dinner and dancing at a banquet hall or country club. This is the fun event that Kappas look forward to all year. Each year there is a theme, similar to homecoming style dances in high school. Each Kappa is also able to bring one date if they choose to.
