William Stetson donated $5,000 to establish the Killough Lecture Fund

William Stetson awarded the honorary degree of Doctor of Law by Monmouth College

Rebecca Jane Stetson donated the personal library of her husband, including books and an art collection

Mrs. Stetson donated a sum of money to be invested and allowed to accumulate until it reached $100,00.00 at which time it was to used for the erection of a memorial fine arts building. (College Catalog, 1931, page 29)

According to the biographical sketch in the file of Rebecca Stetson this money may have been used in the construction of Wallace Hall.
