Pi Delta Phi French National Honors Society
The purpose of this society is to recognize outstanding scholarship in the
French language and its literatures, to increase the knowledge and appreciation
of Americans for the cultural contributions of the French-speaking world, and to
stimulate and to encourage French and Francophone cultural activities.

Sigma Delta Pi Spanish Honor Society
Past students
in the honor society have received nationally competitive scholarships from
Sigma Delta Pi. McRoberts received a scholarship to study in Mexico, and
Monmouth graduate John Stevens received a scholarship to study in Spain. MC
graduate Edwin Ubeda wrote a short story titled "Homenaje a Tereza" that was
published in the national student review of Sigma Delta Pi called "El Cid."
